I use O2 to drive my Beyer T1. I'm pretty sure it should be more than enough to drive HD600 with authority with a little more juice to spare. You should hear the DX90's dual DAC in it's full glory. O2 won't stand on it's way.

My friend is also planning to buy the dx90. He's asking if the ibasso already ship the dap with the latest fw?

It is very easy to load the new FW. You just download the FW, extract it and drop the .img file on the internal memory, to to advanced and do the update. Good practice for any further FW updates, which all companies have anyway.

Just got mine today from Amazon, 2.0.0.

Also to the peeps wanting DAC function on their Macs and 64 bit machines, you can always setup a Win 7 32 bit VM using VirtualBox.  It has a feature called USB passthrough which connects the device directly to the virtualized OS.  You can obtain free and legal Windows 7 install ISOs from Microsoft.  They'll complain about activation after a month, but that's no big deal.

It's not the lightest or most elegant solution, but it may hold you over until release.  Note, I haven't tested USB passthrough on Virtualbox myself, but I have on other VM hosts.

No Mac support, huh? Simply a dumb-ass move.

It's just a whole different dev environment.  And if you're going to optimize for market share, you learn Windows first.  Strange thing though is that typically you don't need drivers for a DAC device in Mac.  My WA7 just works in Mac, but needs a driver in Windows.  *shrugs*

I have a Leckerton mkii and a ibasso pb2 both of which allow you to roll OPamps. I love my pb2 with muses02 but I also keep going back to the Leckerton with 627s installed. The dx90 is an upgrade on the dx50

Macs are a minority especially in China. Even if they never decide to add it that wouldn't affect their profits by much.

Pretty much true. Very few Apple computers there in relation to Microsoft based. Just the way it is. I have a Mac but I can always get Parallels and run windows or do Boot camp but I would go with Parallels and most likely will pretty soon.

I have some issues with the left channel out of my dx90 but only from the HO.  The line out is fine.  The sound goes in and out as I slightly wiggle my earphone plug while in the HO.  For more angles than not, the sound is completely or almost completely out on the left side only.  I noticed this because I moved the unit to my left some and the sound went out.   Anyone have any insight?  Thank you.

Parallels and VMware works like a charm. You can even setup your VMs so that apps on Windows behave like a native MacOS app. Unfortunately, iBasso's 32 bit USB DAC driver doesn't work at least on Windows XP when I tried. But i was able to switch back and fort between FW versions flawlessly.

Virtual Box is completely free and is a good alternative. But it still has issues with USB devices. It still does not support USB 3.0

Have you tried it with a different set of headphones. Could be a cable problem
