I just tried for over 2 hours to add another album to my microsd card. However, each time I rescan I only get artists from A-K to show while the remaining L-Z is missing. I tried deleting the data in the DX90 and doing a factory reset and it is still doing the same. I even tried to remove the album and see if all my artists shows up and I still get A-K. Before I got A-Z with no problem and all my songs are retagged. Anyone know what I can do?

Does the new album artists name begin with L by chance?

Have you tried formatting the card?

Did you remove the folder that the DX puts on the card?

There's a folder that the dx90 creates, have you deleted it?
Not sure if it's a hidden folder. Can't remember.

When you delete it from the card or the DX memory make sure you empty the trash on the computer.

@gav007

Then try formatting, seems like your best option at this juncture.

Yeah I already deleted that folder too but for some reason artist L-Z is still missing. It won't show up on a rescan but it's there when I go into the directory.

I think that's my only option left. I'll reformat the card and reload the songs on when I have time.

Hmm you cant say its well driven since the mid seems a bit recessed. But the high are not harsh and bass is there.

I'll do a more serious comparison when my Vali comes. Seems most of the users here satisfied the pairing of Vali and Q/K701.

Thx mate. I was a bit worried about the highs as DX50 makes them harsh on a lot of recordings. Ordered DX90 anyway so I will have a chance to check and compare the two next week. But I guess an amp will be a must for this setup. For the price you have in the US Vali seems like a reasonable choice. Where I live - add 23% VAT and possibly some customs duties and it ceases to be a bargain. Will have to have a look at some desktop amps in other threads.

Meh, no worry. Will soon check the synergy myself. Thx.
