Ah, I see. Wouldn't it be easier just to change out SD cards?

pretty sure that'd be the opposite of easier, haha. just plugging your dx90 into your usb slot and your earphones/headphones and listening to stuff off your laptop vs. having to buy multiple sd cards and organize/move all your music onto them and have to switch them out and remember what artists/albums are on each sd card...

Yeah, probably would for some people. I don't bring my laptop around so I don't really need it.

Yeah, my current job results in me having a laptop everywhere I go so that is a given, but I could see your point for those not tethered to your computer.

A major strike against the DX90 for the Mac owners. frown.gif

I don't really understand why they haven't thought about that while every other competitor can do it.

If you own a Mac, then put Windows on it. :)

This is quite strange....

My understanding is that only DAC adopting USB Audio 1.0 standard (not to be confused ith USB1/2/3) works on PC/MAC without driver but it only support up to 24/96. Most USB DAC uses USB Audio 2.0 standard which unfortunately require driver support on Windows (the special software mentioned by jamato?)... MAC OS X native support usb dac on USB Audio 2.0 standard and unless ibasso reinvent the wheels for their usb dac implementation I really struggle why they can't make it work on MAC....

Be careful here you sure set yourself for flaming. biggrin.gif

Let's say not interested in introducing an inferior op system to a better machine and op system.

PS you haven't heard it from me tongue_smile.gif

I don't see Windows as a more superior OS than Mac OS. To be honest, they are equivalent when you look at the general overview between the two. I'm a man of peace, not destruction. ;)

On a brighter note;

Wednesday, April 16, 2014 Location Time
10 Transferred through NEW YORK CITY GATEWAY - USA NEW YORK CITY GATEWAY, NY - USA 23:46

That's usually one day delivery from there so might get lucky and have it this afternoon.

I hope to replace my J3 soon. The battery life on it is shorting out a bit more.

It's always better to look at it from a detached view point. wink.gif
