Looks like most of you will be getting the dx90 soon or later
Meanwhile I'm still enjoying the holiday with the dx90.
If you're going to post, it might as well be impressions!
The separation and soundstage are very promising.
This makes a big difference when listening to some classical pieces.
Also I notice that the difference between normal cd-rip music and high resolution music is more obvious.
Is it the magic of dual chips?
Hi, jamato8! What complex classical music did you listen to on the DX90? Was it chamber music (string quartets, quintets, trios) or large scale orchestral music (e.g. symphonies by Brahms, Rachmaninoff, Mahler, Bruckner etc.)? Care to share more details about how it excels in terms of details, soundstage, separation etc.? Thanks!
And does the gapless work seamlessly when moving from the file for one movement of a classical piece to that for the next movement (e.g. from the 3rd movement to the 4th movement/finale of Beethoven's 5th symphony)?
I wonder how many are now dancing the old F5 dance...
Very happy to hear about the superb resolution and layering from the DX90. I recently got a topkit for my PB2, making it even better and more resolving. With an improved source it's going to be a beast of a stack for feeding my K10!
Can't. Friggin. Wait.
