Sennheiser Momentum earpad cushion replacement question

Hello everyone.

I am new on this forum. Actully, I have been lurking for quite a while, but decided to register now.

This forum has been very helpful to me with picking the right headphones for me.

I bought Sennheiser HD Momentum(brown version) and couldn't be happier with them.

Thanks god I found this forum which stopped me from paying 500$(yup, that's the price around here)

for new Beats studios as I originally intended.

I have one question regarding these headphones. One of the earpad cushions seems a slightly bit deformed.

I don't know if that is normal and happens frequently or should I try to get it replaced as I have warranty of course

(they are only a week old). I have to say that It doesn't cause any discomfort what so ever but I just wanted to know

if it's supposed to be this way. I am kind of a perfectionist.

So, what do you think? Does it look like it should? Would you try to get it replaced on my place?

Thank you and regard to all of you :)

p.s. sorry if there are some grammar mistakes, English is not my native language.

You mean it's a little uneven (where your thumb is in the photos)?

Does it affect the seal or the sound? If not, I think it's a matter of how much does looking at it bother you vs. how much trouble will it be to exchange.

No way lol.I have the same problem.Have been really depressed about it,thought about returning them but it finland you can´t return anything if the package is opened and the product is even somewhat working...Ordered new pads from sennheiser spares uk but the quality is really, really bad.Not even sure if they are genuine sennheiser spares or fake chinese pirate copy stuff.

Well, that wasn't the case here. I returned them and got the new ones in less than a week.
They didn't have any more brown so I got the black & red version which I like even better so it's a win-win situation for me.
