You can not go wrong with this, except waiting line!  I'm happy with my CF Roxanne.

From the sound of your post, the Roxanne is good because of its versatility, in addition to the sonic qualities. Is it that much better than the JH16 to warrant getting one? If it is an incremental improvement, I'd rather use the money for getting a LCD-X or something. I am quite happy with my JH3a-JH16.

Don't be. If it works great for you, just enjoy it :)

If you are looking for a different sound signature, get Noble K10.

I'm happy that you're like your JH3a.  I hear and read the thread that so many people not happy about their jh3a.

For me, My Jh16 is not fp and I haven't experience had the JH16 with fp.  So I can't tell you how different from that point of view.  However, Roxanne is whole another level of sound spectrum compare to non-fq JH16.  That does not mean my old JH16 going to hell.    To my ears, Roxanne is not just incremental improvement, this Roxanne is game changer!

It is tricky because there are no demo around, unless you fly over to Jerry Harvey manufacture and try the demo.  You really need to try for yourself to know how it sounds like.

Thanks hope this help.

I have amateur ears and I trailed them with my iPhone. For me there was no comparison and I couldn't get my wallet out fast enough. JH 13 sounded kinda thin, somewhat lacking in bass. Jh 16 sounded kinda heavy, almost congested. Then Mr Harvey showed up and I tried the Roxanne. I died and went to heaven. Everything came together. Warm, airy, smooth, clean, crisp and oh so detailed. I'm sure I could have been happy with anything, but once I tried Roxanne it was a done deal.

So far Roxanne is bigger in all aspects compared to JH16FP. Bass, treble details, mid, instrument blending/separation and soundstage are noticeably bigger on Roxanne compared to JH16.

The adjustable bass is quite the icing on the cake.

Hmm...I wonder if someone can compare them with the UE18Pro

Yeah, if I were to get a new pair it might as well be a different signature. How would you describe K10's signature?

I can honestly say with Tyll that the FP versions of JH13 and JH16 have such sublime clarity one would not expect from tiny IEMS. [http://www.innerfidelity.com/content/canjam-rmaf-2012-show-stopper-sublimely-transparent-freqphase-jh13-and-jh16-jh-audio] There are some minor problems with my JH3a (i.e. very slight hiss) but it is fantastic. I may have to demo it myself since I am only an hour away drive from JHaudio.

That sounds very enticing. I thought my JH16FP is pretty good. Do you think that it's worth upgrading to move from JH3a JH16FP?

Absolutley YES!!!!

What's your comparison to the JH- Roxiannes with the JH-13's. Do you think both of these with freakphrase would sound better then the sure SE-535 & SE846. Do you think it would give clearness, detail and warmth of the Audez LCD-X, Sennheiser HD-800, and Grado PS-1000

Well for me Yes. It sounds much better for me vs 535.
846 has much more bass mainly midbass but the Jh13 has bigger soundstage
It is warm but not as warm as LCD
It is detailed but not as much as like the 800 but very comparable
It has boosted subbass that is very satisfying overall but not as impactful like the PS1000
Clearness - YES
