A few reports from Mook complained about harshness in the treble, perhaps due to possible fit issues.

Any evidence of this in the customs so far?

No harshness so far... I've been running them thru my sibilant.tracks and they sound fine.

What about fit?? Are they comfortable even with the bigger size? How about the weight? Do you think that these will be comfortable when wearing them for a long time? :)

I envy you... I want them soo badly haha!

Really looking forward to impressions even though I won't go the custom route. I am interested in the universal version, & am considering these, the SE846 & maybe a couple others

Size and weight are no problem, they arent as heavy as you'd think. Theyre very comfy as well.

VisceriousZERO,

Any thoughts on how these stack up against the TG!334s?

Got mine and letting them warm up, were real cold from being on the FedEx truck.

Biggest issue I had so far is getting the left earpiece out of the storage box.  It was die-locked in there.  Right one was also very tight in the box but it did come out with some effort.  I ended up cutting the earpiece out of the left side. see pics.  Will need to find a better way to store these as I do not want to have to fight them to get them out each time.  It was a nice idea, that, for me, is not working.

So far sounding very good, tuning the base is very nice to get the mix you want.  I have already changed it several time depending on the songs I am listening to.  The treble is very clear and there is no harshness so far, the concerns I had from CanJam are, so far, taken care of.  I am also trying out the more sibilant tracks I have to test this.

The fit seems just right, will need to get more time on them to verify. No issue with the weight. Cable is very nice,on the thick side but so far manageable.

Here are some pics:

Had to cut them ear piece out of the form fit housing.

here they are compared to UE7 Pros

Holy sh... That sucks. That negative impression in your case is an utter failure. These details really should be checked before shipping to your customer. I hope this doesn't become a trend.

Growing pains... glad I waited for the dust to settle to order these.

Definitely above and beyond the TG!334, Due to more extension in the highs. Much more resolving as well.

Cool, thanks.  How would you characterize the mids and mid-bass relative to the 334s?  I know alot of folks are worried about the treble on the Roxannes, but I go more the other direction - I couldh't pull the trigger on the 13s as I was worried about them being too bright/analytical.  The 334s are already close to pushing my limits in that regard :)

Not 100% sure, but I thought you had to twist (like a screw) the earpiece out of the negative impressions/case.

Yep, that's how the right one came out.  Little bit of a twist and it popped out. But the left one, as I said, was die locked in there and would not come out. Fought with it for a while. Quite frankly, it pissed me off so I cut the little bas#$@ um, er, earpiece out.  No harm done except to the panel the impression was done in.  Will need to find an alternative storage method.

Ah ok.  That sucks.  I'm sure JH will fix it for you.  You could also use the round puck they sell with the JH13/JH16.  I love that case.  I have it for my JH16s and I plan to use it with my Roxannes for travel (when I get them next month).  Will keep the carbon fiber case for home use only.  I like the fact that the puck screws on and off so its not easily opened by accident in your bag.
