I will try to be extra gentle with the new cable once I get it :)

Thanks, I have not seen that other thread. Looking at his picture, it was the exactly same thing with mine.  I hope the new cable that will arrive tomorrow is better ...

Interesting.  I have heard JHA is using an overseas manufacturer to make these new cables, instead of using the normal stateside company that makes 99% of current CIEM cable.  Perhaps there are going to be growing pains using this different manufacturer.

On the bright side at least the nut breaks before the threads on the actual earpiece if the nut was too strong I could see it breaking off the threads on the earpiece which could be a major pain.
JH just needs to update their marketing to " amazing breakaway cables to protect you investment "

I bet it's somebody at the factory over tightening them on completion.

Bummer about the faulty connections on the cable. I hope they can rectify the problem before shipping a bunch out.

Sanitary cables! They disintegrate after 3 days of use to avoid you getting them dirty :)

I will test that tomorrow, since they are shipping me a new cable.  I will be super / hyper delicate and make sure I don't tighten them ...

And heatshrink them to stop them undoing themselves ;)

Hot melt glue is better and easy to remove . Just a thought .

Yep, Just looked at mine and they are coming apart, too. I posted pics of them in the main Roxanne thread.

Wow. Maybe JHA should have stuck with Plastics one. Hope they get it fixed quickly.

Really sorry to hear it :(  I will let you know if the replacement cable has similar issues ...

How much does the Roxanne outperform the jh13fp? Tried the demo but still prefer the 13s
