Need help picking soundcard (SB Z or Xonar DGX) for Beyerdynamic MMX300 for Gaming Only

Hello everyone...

As the title states, I would like opinions on to which soundcard better suits me as a gamer.  I do listen to music but it's simply stuff off of youtube, and my main focus is gaming.  I'm replacing my current headset (Logitech G930s) with the MMX300s and would like an opinion on which of either the Sound Blaster Z or Xonar DGX is basically better.

While I appreciate that many would recommend a headphone with separate mic combination, my preference is to keep the two together and I'm really impressed about the things I've read about the Beyerdynamic MMX300s.  That said, I do want a soundcard that can do the 5.1/7.1 surround sound that the G930s can do, and I'm also looking for a card that acts as a headphone amp as well.  Opinions greatly appreciated as to which card would better suit my purposes.

Thanks in advance...

Dave
