Need a new pair of headphones

I know everybody bashes on Bose because they are so overpriced, but I want a recommendation for a pair comparable to the QuietComfort 15s. When I say comparable I mean mostly in the capacity of comfort.

Things I'm looking for:

Closed on or over ears

0-150 ish dollar price range (can be somewhat flexible so if something comes to mind just put it out there)

I listen to a lot of indie and acoustic music and the best word that I can think of for sound is warm. Im not sure how that plays into frequency response but I tried the monoprice 8323s and they were awful for what I listened to.

Whats the reason for you replacing the QC15?

QC15 has been the king of noise cancelling and imo still is.

For 150 dollars you wont get any headphone that's exponentially better than the QC15, I'm not sure its really worth the 150 dollars to get a new headphone (hence the question why u want to replace the QC15).

Would you be open to selling the QC15 so you would have maybe 300-400 to spend on a headphone instead of just 150?

just an idea
