Having problems installing VST Wrapper in foobar2000

First off, I apologize if this is in the wrong place. This is my first post here on Head-Fi after browsing for ~1 year and the site said I should post questions here first.

On to my problem, I'm trying to install a parametric equalizer on foobar (Electri-Q, to be specific) but first I need to install George Yohng's VST wrapper. I downloaded the zip file from yohng.com and read the readme.txt file then moved the .dll application extension file to the foobar Components folder in C:\Program Files, which all worked fine. However, the VST Wrapper plugin doesn't show up as an option in either column of the foobar DSP manager. If anyone could help me out, it would be much appreciated!

Did you install the VST wrapper in the components section of preferences? VST wrapper itself is not a plugin -- your VST programs are the plugins. You will have to install those in preferences -> components -> VST plugins before they show up in the DSP manager.

Thank you very much, manbear! Everything seems to be working now.

Hi, does anyone know how to access the George Yohng VST Wrapper when Foobar is running? My version of the VST Wrapper ONLY shows up when I first start Foobar. Once I click away from the wrapper, it disappears forever and I have no idea to access it.
