JVC HA-FXT90 Vs. Hifiman RE-400?

hi all,

i'm looking for new IEM's to replace my RE0 (left phone stopped working...), which I was mostly happy with, except for the fact changing tips was impassible.

I would like to pay around 100$, the HA-FXT90 and RE-400 seems like to best choices for the money (both go for around 100$ tough i found the FXT90 for 70$ on amazon, not sure how it would work regarding shipping though...)

I listen to mostly alternative, indie rock and electronic, hip hop... mp3 320kbps...

can please help me decide between the two? is there a better one for the same money you would reccomend?

thanks!

Ran7, if you liked the sound of your RE0's then pick up the RE400's. The HA-FXT90's have more bass and treble, but the treble can be a bit sibilant. You might also look into the Yamaha EPH-100's for around the same price. The Yamaha's have great bass and are more smooth in the treble than the HA-FXT90's.  Good luck! Hope that helps.
