I hope I'm putting this in the right place.  I have the Turtle Beach X32 and the ASUS Xonar DG (I know people tend to insult and hate on these, but I'm poor - come on).  The card claims its port is amplified, and the headphones also claim they are amplified, so my question is simple: Will the amped jack do any harm to the wireless base (since it is not headphones as the jack is expecting), and will this double-amp it and introduce distortion?  If the answer is that they are both gimmicky devices and not actually amped (as I've seen posted around), then given that these WERE both amped, is this something to avoid doing?

I wonder if the base station would just "ignore" the extra power, be harmed, or if the amplified signal survives and affects the headphones on the other end of the wireless.
