NAD VISO HP50 not for me, what else?

Thread Starter

Hey

I have my NAD VISO HP50 for a week now, didn't bother to burn them in because I didn't like them. Not only the sound signature

The SQ is great, bot boring to my ears. For a mobile headphone, I need something more fun.

They don't isolate very well and leak a lot. Again a bad attribute for a mobile headphone.

They are comfortable, but don't look good on my head. A minor bad attribute for a mobile headphone, but still

I'm thinking about the V-Moda M100 that are in the same price range.

My Music preference is very wide, EDM to rock to metal to jazz to flamenco to accoustic solos (chamber music or bluegrass or jazz guitar)

I'm looking of course for a closed over the ear.

It's ok if the headphone needs amping, I have a FiiO E18

Thanks

Have checked out the "Shootout: 108 Portable Headphones Reviewed" linked at the top of the first page of this thread?

If you're looking for some good bass (the NAD's are indeed too mellow for some) try the P7's. They are more expensive, however.
