what's your budget?

wireless you can have 2 types: bluetooth vs digital transmission. Digital Transmission will sound the best as they will transmit the signal uncompressed without any loss in quality. Ideal for home use.

I guess there is also infrared & radio frequency wireless ones. Bluetooth is very common, but bluetooth compresses the audio to transmit, so you will have noticeable degradation in sound quality. Not ideal. bluetooth is commonly used for portable on-the-go wireless (pairing your BT headphones w/ your smartphone type scenarios)

Here is an example of a pair of high-end wi-fi digital transmission headphones at $400: http://www.amazon.com/Sennheiser-RS-220-Headphone-Black/dp/B006ZNX81E

here is a review of it: http://reviews.cnet.com/headphones/sennheiser-rs-220/4505-7877_7-35160617.html
note: review was done when the price tag was $750, so ignore the value statements.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think these are probably the best wireless headphones on the market right now.

Edit: the RS200 is open, so they will leak some sound.

If you need these headphones to be noise-isolating, you will want something closed, such as the RS 170.
