Didn't UM come up with the Zeus 10 driver a few years back?

It was more of a one off right? I knew Rooth's 10 driver was very limited as well

Anyway by now I think most of us know it's not the count of drivers but how multi-drivers are put together. At least for me, I don't believe there's a right or wrong on how many drivers are used but just the bottom line final tuning that I care about.

another reason why fitear 435 (5 drivers) are doing everything (other than bass) way better than UM Miracle (6 drivers), based on a reviews for people who had both.

So AnakChan how was the Treble on the new Demo? :3 you gave us info about the bass only >=) 2xhighs and 2x super highs? i wonder how epic the Treble will be :3

Actually UM already had a 8 driver design in added driver models, and even once did a 10 driver CIEM for a client, the Zeus.

The Zeus was  more of an experimental take on designing your own CIEM by MaoDi back then. He chose the drivers and created the XO himself, then shipped everything to UM for the assembling process. UM did give him some advice on the tweaking but other than that, it was an original feat and had nothing to do with UM.

Update: 1st post updated with official Mentor specs. Link to official page and photo by Currawong put up (although you can't really tell from the pix :p...could have been any IEM...hehehe).

Pricing has been put up too and I wasn't far off in my guesses of the rest of the BA's. Phew! Over 40 and the grey cells still work!!

Asked Stephen Gou about the Treble/Mids , Miracle Vs Mentor

"i feel it has more treble extension without being brighter, and vocals are more thick and warm. Thanks to the two mid-high drivers. " also it did WoW him , coming from miracle.

i want one now!! :3
