Nah the NFB 10ES2, I think already have that listed, non the less the NFB10ES2 is rated for 6w into 32 ohms. Mny HE 500/He 6 owners enjoy the NFB 10ES2/3 plus it's still balanced

I also have my Pb2 with me, which is like 2.5w into 32 ohms :D, so I'll have enough juice for It I think, portable and at home

True, I'd like to hear it for my self as well. Not a tube guy, but It can't hurt to give it a whirl!

I'm bringing Emotiva miniX and Vali so no worries. Also I ordered an Emotiva DC-1 dac that people have said to be comparable to Schiit Gungnir.

It just depends on what the gain is set at.  I used to have the SA-31 which is rated at 8W into 50 ohms.  I could barely get the HE-6 to a reasonable level on it because the gain was too low.  There is a resistor mod where you can bypass 2 of the resistors with lower value ones in order to increase the gain but this also increases the noise to less than ideal levels for all other headphones of normal efficiency.

Nice I can see how my NFb10ES2 Handles the HE 6 :D

I asked for the time off for this at work! And I've got my HE 4. it sounds good, I'll have a custom cable for it though by April, this stock Hifiman Balanced Canare Cable... is ugly

Curious about some general rules of meets.  I've got a bud that stays in Charlotte, and I might stay with him for that weekend.  Is it ok for him to join me?

Also, not that anyone might even be remotely interested, but are we allowed to 'advertise' headphones from out inventory for sale?

The more the merrier, and it's very common to see price tags on equipment at meets. Nice place to haggle for deals ;)

I certainly have no problem with it.  As long as it's not done in an annoying or obnoxious spamming manner so to speak.

Heh I might end up unloading some gear since I'm pretty much only using my HD800 these days, and this would bypass shipping and PayPal fees. Now the cost of driving to Charlotte from Atlanta is another matter.

Oh, no sir.  I just planned on putting a slip of paper down saying they were 'FS'.  I still figured forum rules kinda applied :p.  Hell, I would love to give away the ER-6i and Monster Turbine while I'm there (maybe if enough are interested, could do a drawing type of thing).

It might even be acceptable to list things that you'd offer for sale here before the meet. ;)

Good point, and I'm sure the rules of the meet can be set by he who organizes it. I might OMG I WILL or I'll be saving some money for the meet! I'm getting around $500 or so from my taxes that I don't need... and I know I'm going to wind up unloading it on some gear... might be best to save it for the meet and see what sounds good with my System :D

Speaking of which, I am now the happy owner of a Balanced HE 4, sadly I sold my Balanced DT 880 I also do not have my Pb1 or my Vali any more, so I've lost some gear since I first signed up for this meet
