no kidding, I wish I could help you but looks like it's going to be the job of your engineering team.

By the way the section is still down, I just can't browse those X5 bugs any more. Do you know when the site owner is going to get this fixed?

There should be Windows drivers available to download somewhere according the the user manual, but I couldn't find them on FiiO's website.
Ah I found a download link, but not from navigating through FiiO's website: http://fiio.com.cn/UploadFiles/main/Images/download/Driver-for-X5-USB_DAC.zip

Wat. I'm listening to some music with the M-100 and when I try browsing through my Asian song folder, it says it couldn't find any songs. That's not possible since there are at least 200 songs in there...
So I reboot the X5 and I can browse the music files just fine. Then I'm playing some music and the device became unresponsive. ?_?

The user interface has been Anything But Postrock stable so far. :/
Moar legally free music.

I had some trouble finding the driver for the X3 when I searched as well.

If you go to Support menu and then into "Download" it takes you to a list of the most recent downloads. The drivers are on top of the list, at least for now.

This is the direct link: http://www.fiio.com.cn/support/download.aspx

@Joe Bloggs

I think it would help to put a link for the downloads associated with each product.

E.g.: on X5 site, put the links for the manual and USB drivers. The same for X3 and other products.

hmmm...weird; my manual doesnt mention anything about downloading the driver from the site. It just says connect the X5 in usb dac mode.  I eventually found the driver when I got too frustrated with it.  Just googled "Fiio X5 DAC driver".  Thanks though.

TR - just in case you're using Windows 8 and the drivers don't load - try this (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NM1MN8QZhnk)

I'm looking through the reviews published so far for the X5...I must be the only one here who things it sounds strident. My ears are pretty fatigued after a listening session with the M-100 on the bus. These headphones aren't even that hard to drive so I'm pretty sure it's not the headphones. I'm slightly worried. >.>

Have you tried other headphones?

These may work better. Like seriously. Using very 'stringent' and harsh headphones with different sources allows you to isolate the variables causing it better.

Really? I thought the M100 was more of a warm headphone.
