If I can customize the graphic, and the 'paper' won't affect the scroll wheel, and its under $20. I'll order one

it definitely will make the boring black looking x5 (for some people, black look elegant..but some will say it look boring) to look more interesting. but only if the decal is good quality and in good cutting..else it spoilt the whole look~
No - neutral means neutral. Bass is definitely all there. If anything, there is a very slight tinge of warmth in the overall signature IMO. Definitely not lean.
I'm at work now for the next 8-10 hours. I will elaborate more when I get a chance to put a few more lossless albums through it. I only used "Wish You Were Here" initially. Will listyen to some Porcupine Tree throughout the day and advise later.
Only liustened to the presets so far. Will tinker with EQ tonight.
No probs - just remember these are early impressions. I've had this now for less than 24 hours. In-depth stuff will come over the next 2-3 days
Jon - thanks. I'll try this tonight.
Well you seem to like it so much it must be a true fart cannon akin to your preferencesYou probably won't like it .

You have the option to turn the button function for volume and track-switching on or off in the settings menu. This is extremely handy because you can switch tracks and raise or lower the volume without activating the screen (just like the AK series). Personally the Fiio UI is better than even the AK series IMO. Not night and day but there is definitely more features and it is as smooth if not smoother. AK really has its work cut out for it IMO. At the prices they sell at I don't see them fairing very well in the market. They will have to really cut down prices to compete now, which is a good thing.
