For Sale:
FS: Emm Labs DCC2: DAC/Preamp. Non-Signature Edition.

Will Ship To: USA

I have for sale an Emm Labs DCC2 non-SE version.  It is an incredible DAC/Preamp.

Here are the specs:

PCM or DSD to analog converter and preamp.

Inputs: AES/EBU, SPDIF, Optical TOSlink, PCM over optical ST glass cable (AES format), RAW DSD, SDIF-3 (DSD), EMM Optilink, Balanced and Unbalanced Analog inputs (XLR and RCA).

Outputs: Balanced and Unbalanced preamp out, Balanced and Unbalanced line out, bypassing preamp.

Remote control, original packaging, Kimber power cord, documentation, glass cables included.  The original box is worse for wear so I have double boxed it.

I have head-fi feedback in the archives, linked in my signature.  I also have audiogon feedback linked in my signature.

THERE IS A FAKE LISTING FOR MY ITEM ON EBAY.  THE ENTIRE AD, INCLUDING PICTURES AND TEXT, WERE STOLEN FROM MY AD.  BEWARE!   I DID NOT LIST THIS ITEM ON EBAY!

Hello tjkurita,

I contacted you on audiogon about that guy posting on ebay, I also contacted eBay right after that but they told me they can't do anything about it. He made another identical listing, I hope you keep reporting him. GLWS.

Best Regards,

Grant

Hey Tjkurita,

To your knowledge, is there any way to get DSD to this DAC through a computer?  Modern DACs can often accept DSD over USB or Firewire, either straight DSD or visa DoP.  Any clue if this can do the same?

There is no USB input for the DAC.  DSD conversion is possible through the EMM optilink input and the BNC input.  It might be possible to get DSD from USB by using a converter, but I am not sure.

There are a handful of converters (the audiophilleo SE springs to mind) that claim to pass DSD over SPDIF, so that's how it would work, I imagine.

Excellent deal for what I'm sure is an excellent DAC.
