Brooko's review is right on the mark, the price to performance ratio is really rather high on these.
=) sound sig aside was going to maybe get ax60 but it doesn't fit well. whereas dn1000 looks to be pretty similar in physical shape to h200 and I'm ok with the h200 fit and isolation. I think it might've been you as well who said you don't see that much value in the extra $ from duno to ax60

The AX60 really doesn't offer much if anything at all over the DN1K. I actually like the Dunu better.

They do fit overly similar to H-200, or a pair of Monster Turbine would be closer not to mention the Dunu can be worn over the ear a lot easier without that plastic rim on the housing protruding on your ear like H-200, if H-200 fitted you well, these should be even easier. It was me indeed said the Dunu is better value for money. Very much like yourself I was going to purchase AX60, however when I heard these those thoughts went out the door, I simply couldn't add up where the extra money was going.

I had all three H-200, AX60, DN-1000 at the same time and listened extensively.

Rocky, I love my DN1000's and have no complaints whatsoever. The only thing I would like is a removable cable. I would pay extra for the security and convenience. Anyway, thank you for a great product! These things sound great!

Can understand the request for a removable cable - but remember that this likely adds cost.

@sardar17 - do you actually own the DN-1000.  IMO the existing cable is extremely sturdy, and these are built to last a long time already.  I personally don't think (especially at the $200 price point) a removable cable is a must - more of a 'want'.

no but i was looking at 200$ category and dn 1000 looks the best there and someone mentioned they will be a good upgrade over the gr07 mk2.

looking at the pics i was worried about the cable,,but many ppl like u have clarified that the cable is not an issue at all:regular_smile :

Brooko,  I agree that the DN1000's are well built and the cable is good. I just love these things so much that I would be willing to pay extra for the piece of mind that comes with a replaceable cable. A DN1000 with a replaceable cable for say.... $300.... I would buy that.

Congrats on your Dunu's!  Enjoy.

Fit is ultimately going to be an individual preference and unique to each user. For me it's definitely not a case of "the emperors new clothes". I can (and do) wear these for hours - no discomfort.

damn I want a year end discount for these
seems like everyone is happy with them unlike jvc fxh 200

For those of you have request removable cable-ness: do multi-driver and/or hybrid IEMs make recabling impossible?

Great review but you forgot to add pricing comparison to it. Based just on the review I couldnt tell if they were 200$ buds or 600$.

From first page of review ......

"I’ve listed price at USD $215 (current Amazon price at time of writing) – however this is not what I paid for them (they are a review sample"

That seems to be the ball park price for these at the moment. Give or take a few bucks.

Ok. I couldnt find it in the first post. Thanks!
