Let me start off by saying that I am fairly new to the audio world, as I just purchased some Beyerdynamic DT770 Pro 250 Ohm cans and a Fiio E10 Olympus.
Problem being, I got a Fiio E10 with a bad headphone jack that has static and buzzing noises that have worsened over my few days of ownership. I will be returning it to Amazon as I can't get a replacement.
On to the question, should I order another E10 or is there something better for not much more than the E10 Olympus? I don't need something portable enough for a phone, but I'd like a smaller sized combo-unit, as I transport my things back and forth between my parent's houses every 7 days. I don't want anything fancy, something that will power my DT770s well, as well as similar impedance cans. A DAC/AMP combo with USB power and a headphone output is all I really need.
Easy availability in Canada is preferred, as I don't want to run my DT770s on onboard for any longer than I need to.
EDIT: I am willing to pay $150 or less. A little bit more will be considered if you guys feel it will be worth while. I don't know how to change the title.
