I have many headphones, but for some reason, i keep on buying the ones that are better at classical or other genres besides
rock and metal music. Can anybody help?

What do you consider "better at classical"?

What aspect / instrument of metal do you like most?

What's your source? Amped or not?

I consider the Sennheiser Momentum, which i own by the way, to be better at classical.

I really like the guitar work in metal music. It is really unique and detailed in every single metal song i have listened to. It sort of brings metal music to life.

I use a Fiio E17 as my amp, and my iphone 5 as my music source.

Have you tried Grados? They're one of the standard recommendations for metal because of how well they handle guitar. Dave Mustaine's solo in the coda of "Holy Wars" is really unbelievable on my SR80i. In that price range, I recommend 225i.

I will definetly look into the SR225i's. Thank you for your help!
