Investing in decent DJ and listening headphones

Thread Starter

I need to get a new pair of headphones for DJ'ing and general listening. I'm currently using a Monoprice 8323 headphone for DJ'ing and the nonexistent soundstage is really starting to irk me. I've seen people recommending the Senn HD 25-1 II's wholeheartedly, just wanted to see what other people had to say here!

Max I'm willing to spend is $200, preferably below. Sound wise, I'm looking for something with a strong low end and does well with vocals; decent soundstage is a must as well because I plan on using them as listening phones too. I currently own a pair of Yamaha EPH100s that I love very much, but I feel like they lack bass. I also have a meelectronics M6 that I like, but comes on a bit harsh in the trebles and has a bit too much bass. Form factor wise, DJ style is not necessarily needed, just a flexible headband for one ear usage (the HD 25-1 II's are more than flexible enough for instance). Amp wise, I have an eager Fiio E6 ready; he's been crying in a corner for a year now because I used IEMs :P

Thanks for any and every suggestion, you guys are awesome!
