regardless its immensely comfortable for an on ear

My M-80 is on loan to a friend, so I can't confirm for sure.  But I honestly don't recall their angled position to be as pronounced as it is in XS.  One thing I do remember, it used to take me forever to slide them back'n'forth to find the comfort spot.  Here is one of the older pictures of my M-80, hard to tell without looking at the other side, but it does look more even

You're picture is flipped around...  The right is on the left side, so you can't see the angling.

Yeah, it's an old picture :)  So, you do confirm the same pad angling in M-80 as it is in XS?  I can't believe I don't remember that lol!!!  But I can tell you with certainty XS goes on without a hitch, something I was never able to accomplish with M-80.

My M-80 actually looks more angled than my XS, but that's most likely due to the way the pads are installed.  The angling on the housings seems the same on both.

XS also have a much larger headband and 'minding-the-gap technology'.

Replacement phones arrived.  No problems with the adjustment clip on this one (so far).  :o2smile:

It would be nice, though, if the pads were available in Alcantara, the polyester material that's like suede or velour.

Glad to see you got yours replaced. I'm getting mine replaced also. smily_headphones1.gif
V-Moda support have two thumbs up from me, as always.

EDIT: Got my XS replaced. Very happy with customer support at V-Moda.

Guys, the XS is more comfortable with glasses than the M80/V80? My V80 was unbearable after one hour.

I normally don't wear glasses when using headphones...  I actually try to avoid wearing my glasses in general XD  That said though, the XS isn't much more comfortable in contrast to the M-80 with glasses on.

I find them more comfortable overall, with or without glasses. I also place the arms of my glasses on top of the ear cup sometimes so the ear cup doesn't mush the glasses into my head.

Get Morpheus glasses like on the matrix. It's ultra comfortable with the XS. biggrin.gif

Yes, more comfy because the clamping pressure isn't as great.
