I'd Welcome Some Experienced Insight:

For Starters:

I just recently got a Fiio X3 from my girlfriend as an early Christmas gift and I've been searching for awhile for some decent bass IEM's.

After hours upon hours, days, and months of research, I've narrowed it down to 2 choices:

Hippo VB or AH-C300

Background taste in music:

70% Hip Hop, 20% Rock/Alternative, and 10% Heavy Metal.

I love to crank up the volume and listen to my music really loud most of the time as well.

Wants/Likes:

As for what my wants are, I'm looking for a decent pair of IEM's that have bass you can FEEL, yet has decent mids and highs as well.

I'm what you'd consider a BASSHEAD at the end of the day as I love my bass.

Price:

Range would be $200 but preferably under $150.

Questions:

1) With that said which would be the better choice of the two I've listed?

2) Also, what other IEM's should I consider that I haven't listed already, if any?

3) Which IEM's would be best suited/paired with the Fiio X3?

Conclusion:

I'd just rather make an inform and solid decision the first time around or at least come close as possible to getting it right the first time.

Advance thanks for any replies. It's sincerely much appreciated. :)

My apologies for NOT paying attention and posting this in the WRONG forum. It's too late at night and I wasn't reading. If a mod could move this to the correct thread, I'd much appreciate it. Thanks.

Hello, I haven't heard your two preferred earphones yet but maybe consider the Audio Technica ATH-CKS Series? These are below $200 . I own the the CKS99 and I can say they have some pretty good bass, but they look hedious IMO.

Also I don't think any IEMs can replicate the FEEL of the bass like headphones can.

Can't answer your other questions though

Just my 2cents, don't flame me please , cheers

You're entitled to your opinion and I certainly appreciate the suggestions. I'll look into your suggestions and see if they're something I'd be interested in. It's possible that I can't find what I'm hoping to find in IEM's, but I'm attempting to get close as possible as I'm using them for a specific purpose. I'm already going to purchase some V-Moda Crossfade M100's in the near future, but that's going to be AFTER I find the IEM's I'm looking for.

After doing all the research I've done, it appeared as if the:

Hippo VB, Denon AH-C300, or even the Hisoundaudio Wooduo 2 would be right up my alley, but I'm simply not sure. It's why I decided to post on here to get opinions from other experienced members and hope they would have me leaning in one direction or the other.

Thanks for your reply. :)
