Hi,

WGGS - We Got Gain Switch.

These are Attenuators. They do the opposite!

Tickled us.

I think just plain and simple "Silencer", "Silencio" or "Suppressor" kind of rings the bell for this kind of adapter. Or if you just HAVE to have the "i" then "iSilencer", "iSilencio" or "iSuppressor"

Hi,

Other iFi features are named for example, "3D Holographic for Headphones" and "XBass."

So probably best to avoid "iXXXXX" as that is for the product name rather than feature.

So do you want the name to start with "i" or not? I thought this was a new product, hence all of the "i" suggestions.

The Switch (Who needs a gain switch?! There is a pun here on switch)

The Tail (Maybe some advertising stuff with "wag" wire-and-gain adapter.)

The Whip (External Gain Whip) iWhip

The Muzzle (Takes the Bite out of your High-Gain Amp)

The Faucet (Two Choices that Help you Control how much Amplitude Gets to your IEM)

(Or, of course, iSwitch, etc.)

Unity (The One Answer for Your Portable Amping Needs)

iSimplify (So you only have to buy one amp)

1AMP  in 2 Flavors (-12db or -24 DB) (One Amp I think is an appealing concept; I know I've not bought certain amps because they lacked a gain switch.)

Slim (Again idea of slimming down your portable amp stack)

iSolution for your Noise Isolation

iSolation

The Reducer (Reduce to Simplify. Reduce the gain to simplify your portable audio needs.)

YIAWIA: "Yes-Its-Awesome-With-IEM-Adapter" (Pronounced YeeaWeea)

iCAN On-The-Go

iGo (Because you can use it with iems on the go!)

i like imackler's idea 'tail'

NanoTail12 / NanoTail24

AmpTail12 / AmpTail24 (so other amps can use it too)

TailFi12 / TailFi24

PedaBridge (from impedance-bridge)

AttenTive12 / AttenTive24

IEMBuddy

HiSens

TheRegulator

TheMitigator

DucFi (from ducking it 12db)

AttenOne / AttenTwo

Leveler / DeLeveler

MatchMaker MM12/MM24

FiSens12 / FiSens24

DeGain12 / DeGain24

RE:Gain12 / RE:Gain24

"Sshtrip",   "purestrip", "nanostrip" , "Zapp / Zapper" -> To indicate the stripping down of power to a desirable amount to drive earphones but playing around the word Shh etc..

"NanoPower", "Capz", "S-cap"  to indicate power control

" i / X / S  - quiet"    ,  " tranquilo"  "Hush" -> To indicate silence

"Surfer" , "Glider" , "Stealth" , "Grasshopper" , " The Fly",  => These word combinations seem associated with smoothness and silence at the same time

Just playing around with related concepts but not too sure what exactly is required ifi. My 2 cents above. Hope they help !

My suggestion: iFi i-hissless

                         iFi i-noiseless

                         iFi i-calmer

I'm really looking for this attenuator!

My suggested name:

iFi - Libra

It would compliment the Gemini Dual Head Cable using the astrological analogy, Libra, the scale.  Like the Gemini, the astrological symbol for Libra could be utilized.  The symbol is very appropriate being the underlined "ohm" symbol since the "Libra" will be providing resistance.

Much success,

Ernie

My suggested name:

iFi - Libra

To follow in the Gemini theme (astrological)  and to compliment it.  The symbology works as well being the underlined ohm symbol.  Attenuation / resistance.

Much success,

Ernie

I've got two: the iCAN Hear, or the iLevel.

My suggestions

1) IEM Crystalizer

2) GainMaster

3) Super Leveler

4) IEMifier
