Speakers and amp recommendations please.

EDIT: Bought a modi/magni for headphones. I need to spend around $100 on speakers.

So here is my dilemma. I want an amp and a dac for my Audio Technica A900X headphones and I have been leaning towards getting the Schiit Magni/Modi. However, I have decided to also get some speakers and spend around $100 on those. I understand that whatever DAC I buy can work with both headphones and speakers no problem.

Would I be better off?

A) Getting an amp that would work for both speakers and headphones.

B) Getting different amps for headphones and speakers or getting active speakers where the amp is built in.

If you know of a product that would fit these requirements, please let me know. Thanks in advance!

For my setups I bought an Audioquest Dragonfly and I use its built-in digital volume control as a pre-amp for my Emotiva power amp. So my speaker volume is controlled completely by the Dragonfly and the speaker power amp has a fixed gain. Then, for my headphones I use the Dragonfly at maximum volume as a line-out and feed my JDS Labs Objective2 amplifier. I'm not sure if using the maximum volume is a good idea, but that was what was recommended by Audioquest.

I've been looking into those but I wonder if they really aren't very good. If the reviews are correct and they are the best I can get under $100 then I suppose I will get them.

So I am better off getting two separate amps?

I wonder if there is a decent speaker option to up the budget from the Daytons but not taking it over $100 including the $20 amp.

Also do you think I could split the modi to both the magni and the speak amp so I don't have to switch cords every time or would that just cause problems?

Never mind this post. I have been looking for the Swan M10s because they are highly recommended but it seems impossible to find them in the U.S.

What do you guys think of maybe doing the Pioneer BS21 or the BS41, going for $70 and $100 respectively. Would these be a big improvement over the daytons?
