Good over the ears for folk to rap and from post hardcore to ambient/drone metal

I found this site after watching some youtube reviews and about how great and intelligent the community is. I searched around the forums and got a solid idea about what I should be looking for in great headphones. I have a wish list that maybe some of you can help with by narrowing down some models. I basically want these headphones to last awhile. I have limited knowledge on the subject so bear with me. I'll list my criteria below.

- $300 price limit

- Over the ear

- Closed back

- Noise cancellation

- Comfortable for extended use

- Looking for good bass that really shines with any rap song to bass drops in hardcore music

- Great sound quality...obviously

- In home listening but will be using them anytime I am out and about

- Will be used only for laptop and itouch listening...no bells and whistles here

Some music I listen to is Iron and Wine, Brushy One String, Acacia Strain, Every Time I Die, Death Grips, Shabazz Palaces, Have A Nice Life, and The Angelic Process. Mainly post hardcore, ambient/drone, and folk music.

Some models I have been looking at are Sennheiser HD25-1 II Closed-Back, Beyerdynamic DT 770 PRO - Closed, Bose QuietComfort 15, and Philips Fidelio X1/28 Over-Ear.

Any advice is greatly appreciated =]

UE9000

The x1 isn't closed back. Bose quiet comfort sounds mediocre, but has good active noice cancellation.

I was told noise cancellation is mostly a gimmick. I was also told about the AKG550

Id get:
DT770pro 80-OK, u shaped frequency response, bass has good impact, great sound stage, I prefer the A900x
ATH A900x-fantastic, open (not actually open, just open sounding), great bass quantity/quality, well balanced, nice warmth.

Based off of what I am being suggested, I think I'm going to go with the Beyerdynamic DT 770 PRO 80 ohms. I looked up the 900x and I am just not fan of how much sound leaks from it. Thanks for the suggestions. Maybe in the future I'll invest in a portable amp. The FiiO E11 Portable Headphone Amplifier keep popping up for me
