I've been mulling over this problem for a while and thought I'd see if anyone on the forum boards had the answer.
So I use the Colorfly C3 as my portable music player so have my files in a FLAC format. At home I use an Onkyo ND-S1 iPod dock (connected to Arcam rDac) to listen to my music (in Apple Lossless format) via my hi-fi setup. Now the problem is that I would like to use the FLAC-formatted music on my Colorfly on my hi-fi without having to re-rip the music to Apple Lossless format. Is there anything out there that I can use to play the FLAC-based music on my Colorfly C3 (or even any other non-iPod portable music player) directly on my hi-fi without compromising on the quality (i.e. not using headphone jack)?
Thanks for your help!
