Best amp for Sennheiser HD 650?

Hello. I just got the HD 650s. I love them despite the fact I don't even have a headphone amp. Nevertheless, I do aim to get one. I will be using these headphones to mix all sorts of music, some full of dense and aggressive sounds. I run Logic on my apple lap top into a MOTU 828 or the MOTU Ultralite. That said, seems like a DAC is not needed, just an amp. I've been eyeing the JDS labs o2 but think I should get something more functional with several headphone outputs (ideally 2) should I need them to track for multiple listeners. Although this happens rarely so maybe I should just rock the o2s. A friend of mine keeps suggesting the Aphex Headpod 4. Wondering what the sound difference would be like between the two.

Also, I know this much about the HD 650s --- they are 63mwatts of power at 300 ohms. In generally and technically what makes an amp a good match for a pair of headphones, the HD 650s in particular?

Thoughts? Either on the above mentioned amps or amps yet to be mentioned.

What's your budget?

Typically, pro-audio companies, like Behringer, Art Audio, are doing headphone amps with 2-4 or even 8 headphones. They are typically doing these gears for studio gears, so you could expect that they would fir to HD 650. For around 200 usd you could get a nice headphone amp with multiple outputs from them. The more you pay, you may expect better quality. I would look ebay and buy one used for less. If you dont like what they do you can sell without any or at least not too much loss.

Budget -- ideally no more then $150 but if it's a good match i'd say $200? I am open to getting something used as well.

Noted. I guess I'd put Aphex into the Art and Behringer category only more of a step up.

Unless you are sure that the multi-headphone amps feature the same audiophile quality and can drive the 300 Ohm HD 650, I'd stick with the excellent O2.
