For Sale:
D2000, MD3.2, DT880

Will Ship To: Anywhere

Happy holidays!

I am willing to ship internationally but please have some idea of your shipping costs before sending me any messages.

These have all been gently used and adult-owned, in non-smoking and pet-free environments.

Denon AH-D2000

I love these guys but my AH-D5000 will be staying with me while these find a new, loving home(Even though I feel that these D2K's bass extends a smidge further than my D5K's, and I love me some sub-bass).

Included: Original 1/4" TRS adapter.

Condition: 9/10 - Flawless sound with minor flaking on one of the pads and one or two quite invisible hair-line scratches on the cups.

Mr. Speaker's MadDogs 3.2 (Black-out sticker'd)

These were my first taste of HiFi.  I am torn up about selling these but I cannot justify keeping them with my D5000s and an HE-500 on the way.  My loss is your gain.

Included: V-Moda 1/8" to 1/8" TRS cable, Fostex angled 1/8" to 1/4" TRS cable, velour storage pouch and cardboard shipping box.

Condition: 9/10 - Flawless sound with minor creases in the Alpha Pads, which is normal with use.

Beyerdynamic DT880 Premium 250 Ohm w/ extra set of brand new velour pads

Bought these when my MD3.2s left me curious about the whole open-back thing.  If I could only have one of the phones in this ad it would be these DT880s.

Included: Retail box, literature, pleather and foam carrying case, one sealed pair of replacement velour pads, and original 1/4" TRS adapter.

Condition: 10/10 - Flawless sound and appearance.  Like new.

I'm happy to answer any questions, just shoot me a PM while you can!

Nobody wants my phones huh?  I guess I just need to become a hoarder.

You know, I'd totally pay for a pair of AH-D2000s, but the prices people want now for them are just silly.

I was quite happy with what I got for the price I paid, and I'd do it again if I couldn't find a less expensive pair in similar condition.

chintimin, How much would you ask for pair of great D2000s today?

Once you have a pair, $300 feels like a steal for the quality.

I do have a pair, actually. Though I'm not sure I'd argue that point - they're definitely some of the best out there. It's just funny because when I bought my pair used, you could get them for like 190$ through amazon. I got my pair for 180$, and it didn't seem THAT much of a discount at the time. funny how things change. Unfortunately, Fostex hasn't seen fit to produce a pair around the same level as the 2000, they just started at the 7000 level with the TH600. ****ers. Not that the d7000 I bought for my fiancee wasn't worth it, cuz it totally was.

Once things are discontinued, the value of them goes through the roof here on Head-fi.

In another year or so, it's going to be cheaper to buy a used TH600 than a used AH-D2000. Year after that, it's going to be cheaper to buy a NEW th600. :P
