If you buy Kumikate Trio, this screw driver is included

I know, but mine is lost :frowning2:  I have the Trio, but no screw driver.  That is why I want to know if anyone knows how to get one.  I have contacted the Kumitate web site, but have not heard back.  Maybe someone can ask at the Japanese headphone meet for me?

Some time in July I headed over to the office:

I was intent on purchasing the KL-REF after much reading.

My ears decided otherwise.  I ordered the KL-KANON with 6BAs, then waited for over 3 months.

A few days ago, I went back to their office for a final test fit.  Perfect.

So happy with these.

Time for some bad news which must be accompanied with good news.

First, there will a price rise throughout their entire model line up.

New flagship model, KL-Lakh

The good news is that there is a new flagship, called KL-Lakh, 3 way 6 drivers. The design of this new flagship is based on the concept of letting the listener "immersed" in the music, pursuing great sound imaging and field of depth.

VESPER
(VEnt Suits for Pressure Emission Restrictor)

In this new flagship, they also adopted their new in-house VESPER
(VEnt Suits for Pressure Emission Restrictor)
technology. By housing the BA inside a 3D-printed housing to minimise distortion and achieve high efficiency of the BA driver, This will reduce distortion of the low frequency driver by preventing excessive amplitude of the sound signal.

Exhaust pressure mechanism module

There's also an exhaust pressure mechanism module (not too sure about how it works though, but i guess it's to prevent the sound pressure from building up/clogging within your ears when you are wearing it? - something similar to the vented holes of dynamic drivers?)

I saw the price jumps a few days ago, actually not too bad if you were using dollars before and compare the converted prices back in july to now.

For the Kanon, the base price has gone up, but the switch option (which adds 2x drivers and does some phase trickery) went down considerably.  I priced the same configured Kanons that I bought back in July with current prices, both converted to dollars and it's only like 100 bucks more now.

The new model looks nice, but I'll have to give it a shot in January.

I keep asking for 8+ BAs...  :)

I thought I got a super steal on the Kanons before, now the prices seem "right".  I wouldn't let it stop me from buying another pair.

I do think that their custom art is a tad expensive though, at 5.5man+ The maple leaves are fscking beautiful though.
