I'm so glad they turned out to meet SQ expectations, and not only that, but a new tuning direction for Aurisonics consumer line. Can't wait to get my hands on a pair...

AFAIK from my time at AS HQ pretty sure standard is the only one that's staying for the long term.

That's assuming you can find the willpower required to let em go.

How do the new ear tips feel?

They're very squishy, as if made of gummy bears. The surface has a tacky feel to it. Like if you left a bag of Haribos in the sun and came back after sun down and the melty pool reconstituted itself. They're pretty sweet; the result of some kinda sugary alchemy, I'm sure. Since they're so pliable, they seal very well and pretty much melt into your ears. It takes more tug than average to dislodge them, so I'd imagine the Rockets would indeed serve your morning jogs quite well.

Interesting haha.

Super comfy once in the ear and seal really well, but if you have dry ears, you may need to use a method of moistening the tips or inner ear at first.

And they stretch out over the nozzle after a while and being looser, they'll probably get stuck in your ear at some point haha.

people are starting to get really impatient over on the comments section on kickstarter. which i think is semi-understandable. would be nice to see a little more transparency about the shipping issues.

Well the project was funded in February. Had I known the wait was going to be this long I probably would not have backed this project. At this rate I'm hoping it gets here before October.

These are almost my exact words when waiting for the ASG-2. Only in this case the Rockets are 100% worth the wait imo.

My intention was to use these just for the gym so not a big deal as some others who plan to use this as a primary earphone. I can't imagine what it would be like if I backed the project later than when I did. I guess lesson learned.

I am in no way or shape an Aurisonics fanboy. I don't own any of their products and i value punctuality. With that said, people nowadays seem to have lost their capacity for patience. Sometimes unforeseen setbacks do happen and a small company like Aurisonics can handle those in two ways. They can either delay the release to make sure the customer gets the quality product they promised them or they throw caution through the window and rush it to the market without solving any of the issues that came up. It seems to me that the Rockets are shaping up to be an excellent iem that is reasonably priced, sounds great and is built like a tank. That's the important part. A few delays here and there only hurt our impulse for instant gratification...

i don't think people would have an issue with there being delays if they were a little more thorough with the pertinent updates. plus the latest update said they were "speeding up shipping" and "practically done" shipping out the first batches and yet you have super steal backers that still haven't received theirs. it just kind of contradicts what they were saying. i think people generally don't mind delays as long as there's transparency and no contradicting information.
