Sennheiser HD650 Ear Cup Comfort Solutions?

Thread Starter

I recently purchased a pair of Sennheiser HD650s and have fallen in love with them. The only trouble is that the left cup isn't deep enough for my left ear, causing it to press against the driver housing and ache. I have tried stuffing in tissue paper beneath the pad but it hasn't helped.

Does anyone have a solution to remedy this problem? Because it is destroying an otherwise lovely listening experience.

The HD650 are one of the most comfortable headphones around here. How big your ears are? With all due respect...

My ears aren't that big, but my left ear has a point on it that my right ear doesn't. No offense taken. I don't have Will Smith ears or anything like that. I have decided to send back the HD650s due to the comfort issues. Thanks for the link.
