Hi all I am very new to this forum and I recently bought an Audio Technica ATH M30 headphones and loving it! the only problem for me is the pads, because it makes my ears very hot after wearing it for like 15 - 30mins.. I was wondering if you guys could recommend me which type of earphone pads I should buy that will not make my ears hot.

thanks!

What are the pads that you don't like made of?  They're either leather, pleather (plastic that looks at least somewhat like leather) or velour (fluffy material)

This thread suggests you can use Beyer or Shure pads so you might want to have a read about comfort and what they do to the sound signature and make your choice based on that.

I think the ones that came with the AT M30 are pleather? because for me they trap the heat too fast. thanks for the link! will be looking through those. I keep hearing that velour are really comfy and doesn't really trap heat so i may go with that.

Velour earpads decrease the bass and the isolation though.
