Back to basics with my phone. The sound is cleaner without the E6 imo.

An MP3 player? It seems nice, but it would be hard for me to convince my parents I need a new MP3 player since I have my iphone 5, iPod touch 2nd gen (which has awful sound in comparison), and a coby MP3 player which I haven't used in 2 years. I'd probably need an amp given that it will help

If you want to drive medium impedance headphones that your phone/mp3 player can't handle the E6 is a good buy simply because it does the job at a low price. If your headphones are hard to drive or over £100 you might be better off with something better though.
