She sounds fantastic, and that is on my Amperiors at work.  I cant wait to try on my brand spanking Grado's which are awaiting me at home!

You'll be amazed!

Had a very very brief listen.
Very easy yo listen to for a grado. That is in no way negative towards any other models.
This seems more laid back but definitely voices with grados house sound.
I will give a more coherent opinion when I have some time with them tomorrow.

That would have been very cool had they done that!

The other limited edition Grados were numbered on the cans or the box at least.

Giving them a first listen now. The bass is a nice change from grado without losing the signature grado sound. They sound more grado than the PS500 did.

Does anyone else's headband look like this? frown.gif

Mine looks perfect but mine has a small milling mark on the cup. Go figure. Seems to be pretty much typical Grado "quality" that we've all grown to love/hate...lol

Well, it won't hurt the sound any....but they got scratched to hell and back some how.

^^

I agree with the bass.  Its nice to have some without loosing that Grado sound.

The bass is the one thing (lack of) that has bothered me about Grado's.  I loved everything about them and I am no bass head but it was what has always lead me away from them.

Nice to have a bit of meat to the bass of these.

My headband has a similar effect going on from the band inside it.

Hoping that once the band wears a little it will become more even.

Mine also seem kind of rough cut :P

Kind of workmanship that if you paid $450 for a pair of headphones with any other manufacturer you would be sending them back, yet seem to accept from Grado rofl.

Send Grado that picture with a sob story of how disappointed you and they will likely respond in some way...

Ask if they'll send you a replacement.

If they do, throw the scratched one on your 80s = pimpin'!

For those that that have scratched headband try rubbing it with your hand, made my scratches disappear.

And that guy he spent the $750 on these should have made a bid first, no way these would have sold for the full price.

Thanks for the tip! Much better now. I can live with this.

And I'm really enjoying the bass. I an finding the mids a little harsh with the L-cush. I'm going to stick with the comfies for now.
