Check this out!  I can't decide how I feel about this yet!

Also, a video describing their creation (with Elijah Wood!):

I wish they told a little bit more about what driver is being used.

Well, they should definetely throw a bottle of whiskey in the box as a headphone stand! :))

Agreed!

I'm really curious as to how they sound.

Promo stunt, or a genuine pioneering step for Grado?

(btw this question is rhetorical)

Exactly, I would like a bit more info about the specs of these. They look awesome though.

I am hoping this is just a first step.  How awesome would a pair of Grados that you could use in a crowded area be?  I would love that.

I just saw the announcement on this, and I'm very curious about them.

Hoping for impressions soon!

Interesting choice in wood.  I guess Bushmills doesn't use charred barrels in their aging process...

Just went on Grado Labs site to see if these headphones were on there with some specs, but nothing.

Fascinating!

Not entirely sure what "vented back" means, but it seems to imply that they're only partially closed.

Didn't realize the links above from Turbulant Labs give the specs.

For this reason i bought the GR10 at the time, but i wouldn't mind having an on/over ear set that functions in noisy areas and has the Grado sound.

I'm hoping Grado will post more info and photos. I love the wood.
