Hi people,

Can anyone please suggest me what is the best way to eliminate the Interference noise when using the Fiio E12 Portable Amp with iphone or any other mobile phone as the source ?

I have use the new Fiio L8 interconnect cable which is using Furukawa Oyaide cable as it says that it can reject noise http://www.fiio.com.cn/products/index.aspx?MenuID=105026015 but somehow it is still audible ?

With the older Fiio E11 and normal interconnect cable, I never had this problem before.

It doesn't matter what cable you use, the noise is emitted by the cellphone wirelessly and hit the amp internal circuit. Unless you can totally shield the amp from the cellphone wireless signal, you will always hear noise. This is because of the opamp used in E12 being sensitive to EMI. You can switch to airplant mode, put a lot of aluminum foil over E12 or keep it as far as the cellphone as you can. Neither is really practical though.

ah so in this case there is no other way to reduce the EMI noise apart from those two methods that you said to me above ?
well I guess I can always put it into another pocket with longer cable.
