Over ear headphones with good bass?

I'm generally new to over ear headphones and really I have no idea what i'm doing. I have been trying though but I cant find any that have good bass without sacrificing mids and highs, any help? To make my question more specific I tried my friends ath m50's and while the highs and mids where amazing the lows just couldn't compete, i'm looking for something leaning slightly more on the bass side. I tried out the sony mdr x10 at Best Buy which i liked but the highs on them where terrible while the mids where just okay and the lows where amazing. I'm looking for a price range of $150-250. Also headphones with noise cancellation would be nice as the last pair i owned leaked quite a bit. a slightly more portable design would be nice as well but I don't care as much for portability

Im more into the closed ear design. And i have tried the dt770 my freind owns a pair that he uses with his electronic drums, they do sound nice but they clamp quite tightly on my head which lead to discomfort after half an hour or so
