Help with a beginner turntable set-up

Currently I've ordered a Project Debut Carbon and own an AKG K550, as well as a large amount of vinyl.  In terms of a phono amp, I'm looking at a Fono Mini A2D.  However, after this, I'm very unsure as to the best way to connect to my headphones.  I own a Fiio E11 if that is of any help, would it not sacrifice any sound quality to simply have an RCA cable which goes into the Fiio E11 input and then from there I can output to my headphones?  Looking for a relatively permanent setup, so I'm willing to spend another 100 dollars on the setup, possible a headphone amp with an rca input.  Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance! (sorry for the multiple posts I have no idea what forum to put this under)

What you suggest will be fine. So long as you have the correct leads it'll work fine.

At some stage you might want to save up a little more and get yourself an audio interface.

Some thing like this would be suitable.

You could leave the TT plugged into the line inputs. These inputs have a gain adjustment so you can tune he output from the phono pre amp for best results. Most pre-amps have a fixed gain and need to be st quite low to prevent a cartridge with very high output clipping. You also have the balanced outs for when you get a pair of speakers.

The impedance match between your existing headphones and the Focusrite phones out is marginal. It might be fine and it might not. Cannot tell. Doesn't matter though because you can still connect it up via the FiiO anyway.

I'll take that into account, thanks.  However at the moment I think I'll go for the following setup;

Project Debut Carbon - Fono Mini A2D - TRENDS Mini Stereo to RCA Audiophile Cable (http://www.kabusa.com/index_pp.htm) - Fiio E11 - AKG K550

Does this check out? If not, what is a more ideal setup for a similar price keeping in mind i already have the Fiio E11, AKG K550 and Project Debut Carbon?
Thanks!
