Considering that you can buy them for 50$, I'd say the bang for buck is much better.

Yes but i saw on internet that hm5 have "bad bass" and they aren't good for dubstep, electronic ecc.

They don't have  "bad bass", they have "flat bass". You can EQ the bass to your liking.

ok, but for 100$ the best buy are the m50, right?

get the M50s if you don't want to buy an amp.

 

if you do plan to get an amp, like say a fiio e11 then the DT 770 80ohm will be your best bet.

Not with the OEM version of HM5 at 50$.

i still think that if the OP gets the M50s at any price under 150 (its 100 right now) they will be very happy with its sound signature.

I think they'll be pleased with whichever pair they choose, they just need to figure out how much they're going to spend.

Considering they have 180,000 sales on eBay, I would say yes. And they probably buy them in bulk to get profit. Go for it!
