You better get control of that relationship if you plan on staying in this hobby! lol :beerchug:

Lol @ that. She enjoys expensive sunglasses & makeup and I enjoy expensive technology. She's hoping to buy me Shure SE846 for my birthday. She's hoping to get a discount somewhere to get them to $850-$900 though. So we'll see. beerchug.gif We both love to spoil each others hobbies.

Just got my KEF M200 in today and it's a great early Christmas gift. The sound is so smooth and wonderful RIGHT OUT OF THE BOX! No burn in time at all. I can only imagine where these end up after they have been baked for 50-100 hours of intense burn in???

I believe, if memory serves me well, that these are the best sounding dynamics right out of the box of any IEM i've ever had the priviledge of owning, and this includes the Sennheiser IE800, Fidelio S2, JVC FXT90, and HiFiMan RE-262.

That's all fine and dandy but why are you posting in the IM70 thread?

Because I was choosing between the KEF M200 and the IM70 last week. Chose the KEF's. Still might try the IM70?

Are these bright sounding or neutral? I hope they aren't dark at all, I want a clear balanced sound akin to the ER-4S. Will I get that with this IEM?

You should read through the thread, they're clearly warmer and bassier than what you've described.

Sorry about that. I only did a simple search using the search option but still couldn't find what I was looking for. Well thanks for the reply anyways

No you will not get the ER-4S sound with the IM70. The ER-4S and P did not have enough bass to balance the rest of the spectrum from my memory. But because of a leaner bass section, you did get clear sounding audio because the focus is within the midrange and treble regions for details. If you liked the ER-4S... then stick with it, as deviations from the path lead to.... :mad:high expenditures:mad:

This post made me laugh so hard because it's so TRUE! If only my Sennheiser 300II wouldn't have broken, I wouldn't have spent THOUSANDS on upgrading to the "next best thing". I was perfectly happy with my Senns before they broke.

Sorry, is there anyone who have heard both IM50 and IM70? What are the diffences between these two?

haha, we've all been there. I was, at one stage of my life, happy with the stock earbuds that came with my portable cassette player.
