Beyer DT-880 Pro vs. Senn HD-598. Maybe others?

(I think) I have limited the search for my first pair of headphones to either of those two headphones, and can't decide.

Taste in music -

Mainly female vocals (Indie/Folk/slight country? Nostalgia by Emily Barker as probably the best example), classical (Violin taking  favourite, though I also listen to quite a lot of piano) and occasionally some classic rock (Pink Floyd, Creedence, CSN&Y, Bob Dylan, ect)

*Will also be used for movies and tv shows

Amp/DAC -

FiiO E7/E9

Looks like the DT-880 can be found for $200 and the HD-598 for $160.

Any other recommendations would be greatly appreciated ($~225 budget)

Thanks,

I noticed a lot of good things said about the MA900, however, it doesn't appeal that much to me. It looks too flimsy, and I'm scared I would end up breaking it.

the important factor that I consider while buying headphones is construction, durability for a long term use (at least for 2 years).

I also considered MA 900, but I ended up in buying HE 400.

$75 out of my price range, sadly.

I think I'm going to go with the Beyer 880's, mainly due to the fact I think it will end up lasting longer. I've always had good experiences with things that are made in Germany.

You'll like the DT880s (I own two of them).

I just bought the DT-880 pro.

$40 more, but I prefer the look, and my gut just told me to buy them over the 598's.

I bought the 250 ohm version and will be using a FiiO E7/E9 combo (That I bought used in the trade section on here) with them.

I hope that you would enjoy them.

Quick update -

Was just able to start listening to them.

The sound quality is more than I had hoped for, the comfort is amazing (Though the clamp force is a tiny bit strong out of the box) and the construction is exactly what I had hoped for.

I'm hearing so many things that I had never heard before (From songs that I have listened to 200+ times).  Astonishing.

Oh, also.  They went on three airplane flights, including an international flight, (Along with the FiiO E7/E9 combo) with no hassle from airport security at all.
