But i heard that, the HD 598 was great for all music genres?

That's just someone's opinion. Not everyone shares that opinion.

Some are ok with it.

I find it to lack low frequencies to a point that I shouldn't have to be missing anything at this price point. Just my opinion.

Very best,

Very best,

A Dt 990 Pro might be enjoyable for you. I really liked mine for Hip Hop, Jazz and opera! Oh yea and the bass is pretty kickin. It was also really good for movies.

Buy a used one. If you dont like what you have you can get rid off it with no loss, or with a minimal loss. Maybe a asus xonar X3 or Behringer uca 202 is enough and spend the rest on better headphone, hoping that higher price would mean better quality.

Start there, head fi members take good care of our headphones! And the prices are ALWAYS low, since selling for profit is not allowed on head fi <3 we share out of the love in our hearts! Or the land lords on our backs <.<

Thanks, but i've heard they are V-shaped, but i've no idea what that means

Emphasis on bass and highs, that said the mids are equally as enjoyable... the only reason I sold it was because I better headphone... that cost me 3x as much as what my 990 pro cost me!

Actually, how you have described what you are looking for, is a V-shaped soundprint.

That said. I would avoid the COP it's not bad but for the price the DT 990 is much better imo
