Id like some suggestions for a headphone for all types of music, my price range is around 130$ and I will be purchasing them from amazon, prefer it to be closed over the ears headphone, couple of headphones I looked into :

-ATH-M50

-Sennheiser HD449~Sennheiser HD439

-Shure SRH440

-Panasonic RP-HTF60

-JVC HARX700~JVCHARX900

And that's about it, if you have any other suggesions or comments please contribute.

Thanks in advance :)

Heya,

Options from Amazon:

UE6000

A900X

SR950

HM5

XPT100

I would pounce on that UE6000 now. Outstanding price new. Half what it used to be. Otherwise, the A900X if you can. Otherwise, the HM5/XPT100 (same headphone, clones).

Very best,

The UE6000 sounds like around my budget, would you care to comment on why would you recommend it, also I was looking into some cheap in ear headphones, and the Sennheiser CX 300B MK II are on sale for around 25$, I was keen on buying them but H20Fidelity recommended the  SoundMAGIC E10 instead, you think its worth it its only 10$ more, or any other budget in ear headphones in that same price range.

And lastly, Thank you so much for for taking the time and help me, I really really appreciate it :)

What sources will you be plugging the headphones into?

Gemini HSR-1000 (Takstar Pro 80) closed headphones, $56.

If Sony put their name on them they would easy sell for over $100.

well I have an asus xonar ds 7.1, but my speakers (5.1 creative Insipire T6100) are plugged into it, so I would be connecting them to my speakers I guess.

Gemini HSR-1000 price looks very attractive, how do they do for games as well, and their soundstage ?

For a closed headphone for $56, I do not think you could do better.

If you connected the computer case's Front panel headphone jack to the Xonar DS, you could just plug the headphones into the that jack.

I am not sure I follow here. I dont have a front panel jack, only my soundcard from the back, which has 5 slots, 3 for the speakers, 1 for the mic and last one spdif something. Its kinda a hassle to keep plugging in this and that.
