A little early obviously, but thanks a lot to Kalbee for these gifts. The book is awesome, and I'll definitely try to read it, though the lack of furigana does make it challenging. (the words are really quite easy; it's in this particular case my lack of kanji knowledge keeping me down).
The sweets were, well, I felt like throwing up. I bravely finished one of them, and I'd like to keep it at that. It's probably an acquired taste, but me, my brother and my mother can't stand it.
I'll try giving it to someone who may appreciate this more than I do. When finishing it I started to see why people would like this, but I really felt like vomiting the entire time that thing was in my mouth.
It's not really odd, since most people have the same reaction to dutch licorice as I had to this piece of candy. It's just a thing of acquired tastes.
I would call -- so far -- the secret santa operation a big success.
Dayum, Kalbee must have sent those things uber speed to you :D
Yeah, I don't have much of a taste towards Asian plums
I'm just waiting for my secret santa to get my own present :D They will be in for a surprise maybe
Umm, I would think so?
Some however put 'kinda fake' names on the senders pakcage but then told you who it was on the inside.
