Need help looking for a suitable pair of over the ear headphones to use with my phone for mostly hard rock and metal

Ok so I currently have a decent pair of Skullcandys that I use to listen with but they are very uncomfortable to wear. So I'm looking for something very comfortable and easy to wear.

Most of the music I own and listen to is rock and metal, but I have a little rap and a fair amount of dance/electronic/dub-step. So a strong bass is a must, but I want the middles and highs to sound very clear and crisp too. And I like my music loud. And I only use my phone to listen to music.

I really don't know much about what is good and isn't so I need some serious help/guidance.

I don't mind forking up a little money for good quality either.

Ok so I've actually done a little research now and I think that I'm gonna go with the Sony MDR MA900.

There's currently a lot of black friday sales going on around and there are some phenomenal deals. Have you looked into any of those?

Are you specifically looking for over the ear headphones?

Yes I definitely want over the ear headphones.

From what I've been reading through all day the MDR MA900's seem to sound the most like what I think I want.
