The Grado PS1000i currently for sale on Buysonic.com at $1045. I think it is a great price if you like Grado's sound:

Good luck!

Honestly, I probably would grab em myself, but I just had $13k in unexpected expenses come up and headphones are the last thing I need to be spending money on right now.  Speaking of which, I should probably unsubscribe this thread for a month or 6...

Wow that's horrible.... Best of luck with that

Hi Guys,

Thanks for posting the deals - please keep posting them, lots of people really appreciate you doing this.

My deal - Logitech Ultimate Ears 600vi; $29.95.

BA iems with mic./remote, refurbished, free shipping from Newegg

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16826104773&cm_re=logitech_ultimate_ears-_-26-104-773-_-Product

I bought a pair, they looked new, but shipped in plastic bag instead of original box. Came with everything except shirt clip.

I have not used the mic./remote.

For $30 the iems are very nice deal.

They're certainly not dry and fast, but are warm-sounding, very comfy to wear, with pretty good resolution (not as good as Klipsch x10). A very pleasant sound, prob. not fast enough for rap-like genres.

How well do these isolate?

They isolate pretty well. They come with 2 pairs of comply-like, "squishy-foam" tips, so if you are using these - be very careful of crazy cyclists on sidewalks (you won't hear them coming!).

(No offense - I'm one of the crazy cyclists!)

I've never seen them go on sale anywhere. Your best bet is probably trying to find em used/demo'd or contacting Schiit and seeing if they have any B stock that they're willing to sell you for a slightly discounted price.

Deals for schiit don't really ever happen minus finding a nice price on a used schiit. Schiit being a small company has greater control over their prices so hence prices remaining the same as they did when they launched.

+1

Plus, the Magni and Modi are already such good price performance values, no need for them to put them on sale for competitive reasons.

Schiit is one of those companies, along with several other companies, that when something is released it usually retains its value until it is replaced by different model. They are pried attractively to begin with already. As for the Magni/Modi, your best bet is to buy used as they're never going on sale, maybe Black Friday but that's about it.
